Saikul MLA Kimneo Hangshing has launched a mobile medical unit ambulance aimed at taking healthcare services closer to remote and underserved communities. The facility was inaugurated at Saikul Hill Town and is expected to support residents for whom distance and terrain make routine access to medical facilities difficult.

Unlike a conventional ambulance focused mainly on transport, the mobile unit is intended to support outreach and basic health services nearer to villages. The initiative is part of efforts to strengthen last-mile healthcare in a region where dispersed settlements and connectivity can create serious barriers to timely treatment.
