British AI cloud provider Nscale has filed for a US initial public offering after reporting a 1,252% increase in first-half revenue. The Nvidia-backed company generated $140.6 million in revenue in the six months to June 30, while posting a net loss of about $1.02 billion as it continued to expand infrastructure aggressively.
Nscale provides computing capacity, power, data centres and software for AI model training and deployment. Its filing will test how investors value rapid growth against heavy capital requirements and customer concentration. The company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol NSCL.
